Pan Africa Insurance Holdings emerged as 1st runners up under the Corporate Governance category of the 2007 Fire Awards. The Fire Award is awarded to companies that demonstrate excellence in their financial reporting, and has been held for the last six years with over 430 companies having participated since its inception.

The Fire Award is administered by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, the Capital Markets Authority and the Nairobi Stock Exchange.
